Collection: Ceramic Fiber Textiles (2300°F)

TaoFibre textiles include ropes, braids, cloth, tapes, and sleeving, made from asbestos-free alumina-silica ceramic fiber. These materials are heat-resistant up to 2300°F (1260°C) with excellent chemical stability, thermal shock resistance, and corrosion resistance (except to hydrofluoric acids and concentrated alkalis). They also resist oxidation and reduction.

TaoFibre textiles contain 15% organic carriers that burn out at 750°F and reinforced materials like Inconel wire (up to 2000°F) or fiberglass filament (up to 1200°F) for added strength and durability.

Multi-Ply Twisted Ropes (Wicking): Made by twisting ceramic fiber wicking, 3-ply ropes are soft and economical, while HD 9-ply ropes offer increased strength and density, with optional Inconel wire mesh for enhanced mechanical resistance.

3-Ply Twisted Ropes (Yarns): These ropes are denser and more durable than the 3-ply wicking ropes.

Round and Square Braids: The densest ropes, made by over-braiding around a ceramic fiber core, provide maximum mechanical resistance and minimal unraveling.

Woven Cloth, Tape, and Sleeving: Durable and flexible fabrics reinforced with Inconel wire or fiberglass filament for increased tensile strength before and after heat exposure.
